While in space, in as little as fourteen days of space flight, astronauts have been known to lose up to 15% of bone and muscle mass!   With concern and in need to help astronauts, N.A.S.A.did a study comparing jogging on a treadmill to rebounding and the results show that “rebounding is 68% more effective than jogging on a treadmill”, preventing osteoporosis, rebuilding bones and muscle quickly and effectively without any stress to the joints!  So this is why since the 80's astronauts have been rebounding to rebuild bones and muscle after space flight!
